Thomas Barry Hopkins

Cast 3 - Narrator

Raised in a musical household in Mayo, Thomas is a multi-instrumentalist and performer who plays guitar, banjo, and bouzouki. He performs traditional music along Ireland’s west coast with the ballad group Tony and the Ramblers and has toured internationally, including with the Emerald Isle Theatre Company in France and Belgium.

A graduate of Film & Television and Theatre Performance, he began his theatre journey with Galway Youth Theatre, taking lead roles in Yellow Moon, Tarry Flynn (dir. Andrew Flynn), and Autobahn (dir. Niall Cleary). Most recently, he appeared as Luke with No Ropes Theatre Company.

On screen, he has featured as Dr. Ferriter in Avenge Ghaoth Dobhair and in Clueless in Ireland.

Now based in Galway, he also works as a national tour guide, where he blends music, storytelling, and performance—sharing Irish culture with audiences from around the world.
