Joel Benedict

Cast 3 - Multi Instrumentalist/Vocalist

Joel Benedict is from Bristol and grew up in Harrogate.

He trained at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow and LIPA in Liverpool.

Joel is also a professional musician playing guitar, mandolin, lute, and other strummed and plucked things so he is often seen either onstage as an actor-musician or in the band. Last year Joel was a musician and vocalist in Se7ven Production’s Fairytale of New York which toured the UK & US (Including the West End).

Joel’s other credits include I Wish My Life Were Like A Musical (Seabright Productions), Guitarist in Mayflies (York Theatre Royal), Eddie Lyons in Bill Kenwright’s Blood Brothers (UK Tour), Spamalot (UK tour), and Paper Hearts (Upstairs at The Gatehouse, Hamburg & Edinburgh Fringe ’16). In training he played Henry Allardyce in Betty Blue Eyes, several roles in Legally Blonde and Father Kenny/Mandolin/Guitar in A Man of No Importance (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland).
